“ Rational design of the direct electron transfer-type enzyme based on structural bioelectrochemistry”

Direct electron transfer-type enzymes are unique biocatalysts that exhibit catalytic activity on electrodes. In this seminar, I will introduce protein engineering approaches to improve electrocatalytic activity, using fructose dehydrogenase from acetic acid bacteria as a model.
